J.S. Jenkins, later Jankins & Sons of Kansas City, Missouri, was a large music retailer that for a number of years was the western representative for the Fort Wayne Organ Company. Circa 1870s.

Packard Trade Card Parlor Scene

This circa 1887 trade card features Case 40, also called the Packard Grand. An interesting feature--on the back of this card is the following statement: (continued on next column)

"This organ can be bought of Mrs. E.J. Thrapp, who is general agent, 25 per cent. cheaper than any other first class instrument in the country. You are respectfully invited to call at the residence of S.T.W. Thrapp in Ulysses and see for yourself."

The Fort Wayne Organ Company produced a series of trade cards for the Columbian Exposition of 1893 that featured the various buildings.
